Subject: Dose makes the poison

Pittsburg, Kansas
The "dose makes the poison" ??????

I don't think alcohol is in any way health beneficial.

Yet I will have an occasional beer or glass of wine. It is poison, but my belief is the body can handle small amounts. It is designed to be able to handle small amounts of certain poisons, alcohol being one. It processes them.

An interesting side note, fructose and alcohol use the exact same pathway from the portal vein to the liver to be processed (does not use the normal digestion process). It is my opinion and belief (and I am often wrong, so keep that in mind), one is as harmful as the other when consumed in excessive amounts (except fructose doesn't cause drunkeness).
