Appears they built the dairy in a flood plain. As did enough people that ‘thousands had to be evacuated’ . Turned the east end of the prairie back to the lake it once was… doesn’t seem like a good place to set up
shop.
Building dikes to try to harness Mother Nature usually causes more problems than it solves.
