The Internet | I know there some people who ride bikes on here and will be aware of the Isle Of Man TT race. If you don't know, it's a time trial around the island of I think 3 laps of just over just under 16 miles. It's incredibly dangerous and riders get killed every year, but that's why the compete, because there's nothing else like it.
The lap record was broken last year by Peter Hickman on a BMW M1000RR and 136.358mph. Remember, this is done on public roads.
There's a lot of professional trackside footage which looks frighteningly fast, There some just after a hump in the road where most bikes get airbourne, they'll show slowed down footage when the bike lands the whole thing shakes, sometimes they hit the ground so hard the fairing will come loose.
