It’s not stupid, but it might not be ideal. The Ego power station could work as a backup, but it’s not designed for seamless power transfer like a UPS. You’d likely lose power momentarily during an outage, which could still disrupt your computers. If you’re mainly on laptops, though, it might not matter much!
