| I looked at the different Life alert stuff for my MIL. I looked up the Google Pixel Watch 3 LTE. We have google Fi. Google Fi does not charge you anything because it uses off the smart phone data plan. You can use the google watch to make calls without the phone being on. I like that because my MIL wraps the smart phone in a towl and puts the phone in a metal box. So I am thinking a faraday cage.
The watch has some of these same attributes as the Life Alert. The fall alert is free with the google watch. If you have iPhone or Samsung you might look into those watches.
