North Central Indiana | I’m saying this with literally no knowledge of the answer, truly curious. Lots of people say the UK and EU have different food products, standards, etc. Is this actually reality or do we have different reporting standards than they do? As in the FDA wants chemical compound names and maybe the EU just needs “sugar”? Same with all the non-FDA approved “clean” products in this country. My sister gives her kids some halfbreed cough medicine because it’s clean apparently and doesn’t have the “bad” inactive ingredients that normal drugstore cough medicine has. But on that bottle they just don’t list inactive ingredients, and it says that it’s “formulated with FDA approved substances” but it doesn’t say what substances and all the “bad” substances listed on the regular bottle are FDA approved so they could technically be in the clean stuff. Maybe I’m crazy, but I struggle buying into the narrative of all of this stuff | |
