lake Michigan shore line/Mason county
The amount of misinformation on this subject is amazing, The tail in the pail line I like the best. If you had ever hand milked cows you would know that you either tie their tail, or hold it in the bend of your knee. Getting manure in the bucket would suggest dirty cows, or cows kicking at flies. I always brushed my cows before milking, This helped to eliminate hair or small pieces of bedding from getting in the pail. Also helped the cow let her milk down. I hand milked up to 4 cows each day for over 15 years. I also sold "raw" milk for years. No one informed me they died, or got sick. I do know a few people who got bad meat from the store. Drinking "natural" milk is just like the vax issue. Pick what side you stand on, just don't tell me what I should, or should not do. My Dad was on dialysis and slowly dying. He asked me to bring him fresh milk to drink. He not only perked up, but started to gain weight. He even stopped dialysis for 3 years before he had to start it up again. Did the milk do it?? I am not sure ,but it sure as heck didn't kill him, or make him sick. Mom started to make butter, cheese and yogurt also. If cows milk wasn't healthy I didn't think God would have created it. If it needed to be processed to be consumed I don't think God would have waited thousands of years to inspire man to invent it. While complaining about "raw" milk make sure to grab a diet Coke in a plastic bottle and take a good drag off your Marlboro.
