The aspect of the raw milk controversy that I’ll argue with anyone is the claim that raw milk is somehow more nutritious or “better for you” than pasteurized milk.

I’ll grant that you cannot usually get unhomogenized pasteurized milk, so raw milk, as sourced by consumers, commonly exceeds the standard 3.25% minimum milk fat content of “whole milk”. It may be lower though, depending on the stage of lactation and breed/genetics of the cows. In addition, there's really nothing preventing an unscrupulous seller rinsing the milking equipment into the tank, or even making up a shortage with the garden hose. It’s really the Wild West like the dairy industry was 100 years ago.

There’s one dairy here in Alabama that sells pasteurized whole milk that’s not standardized to minimum milk fat content and homogenized. So far the young woman is slowly expanding and adding processing capacity, so she’s doing good things.
