Highland Center, in Southeast Iowa | PUNISHERVETTE - 12/19/2024 14:16 Have a farm that I'd like to put a bin on eventually(5ish years away still). 30k-40k bu bin. The farm is divided into two crops(north and south) but there's a 2ac house place right at the divide and the owner has never been very friendly to us. Luckily they're getting older. I'd like to put the bin right in the middle of the two fields so I can store corn each year in it depending on which field is what...but that means it would go right next to their house place and this seems iffy to me. There's waterway to the east and if i don't put it on the divide it just makes filling the bin harder in the off year. Just curious if anyone has had similar issues. Am I just asking for trouble with the house owners? or my property my business too bad so sad type of deal?
If there's already somewhat of a less-than-perfect relationship between you and the owners of that house, I can't think of another way that would make that relationship worse faster than planting a big bin fan right outside their bedroom window. |
