PNW
This is a bit of an odd tractor, it doesn’t have any factory remotes.

It’s an ex-county rig that used to run a side mount Tiger flail mower. It has a generic looking 2 spool valve mounted on the RH side of the transmission that’s controlled by a joystick in the cab. It gets its supply from a tee brazed into the high pressure line coming out of the pump housing on the side of the rear axle (this tractor does not have the aux pump on the engine). The return goes straight back to the sump. I’m pretty certain the valve was part of the mower install, but the brazed fitting doesn’t look like a very professional install so I don’t know if that was original to the mower install or not. The valve is open center and when it’s installed it steals flow from the 3 point because it’s plumbed in up stream of the unloader valve and offers a low resistance path to sump.

Since I’m focusing on getting the 3 point working and need the flow, I’ve capped the line going to the external valve, so all flow should now be going to the unloader/priority valve block, same as the factory configuration. When I do this, the 3 point works as it should, but it doesn’t seem like the unloader is working. All 3 spools in the unloader/priority valve pack move freely, but I didn’t pull the entire valve body off the lift cover. Is there anything beneath that valve body that could be “stuck”?

Thanks!
