NW Missouri
+1

We have a farm that is all contiguous but split into two units for crop insurance due to section lines. We make sure both units have corn and beans both planted on them every year. Helps keep APH as high as possible since the last 10 yields for a crop in that unit are the last 10 years instead of the last 20.

As to the OPs question, it probably depends on the state. In MO, there wouldn't be a heck of a lot they could say for a single bin like that. Once the site got big enough, like 200k bushels, DNR could require a permit if you were within a certain distance of a house you didn't own.

With that being said, putting a bin there sure won't improve the relationship. Is there is another driveway off the road you could put the bin at, and then every other year you could pull out of the field at the guys house and run down the road a little ways to the other driveway?
