A state trooper that does vehicle safety inspections for those kind of vehicles would be my next avenue to explore if you think my hair brained idea has merit.
The only question might possibly be of a redundancy or mechanical system vs electric, but the but the second system has an electric vacuum pump so I am unclear of it's viability.
GM also made chassis like that for motor homes in the 70's or 80's, I have a neighbor with one.
Not being able to source parts anymore may either make it a work with a state governing body to change to a more usable current technology or they may just need to sell (scrap) it.
What would it take to get an old charter bus or the like from an airport, casino or something from Vegas? | |
