Why not convert the rear axle to trailer brake backing plates and add a brake controller on the dash?
It's just an E-350 with a tag axle.
Even if you had to add a complete trailer brake axle (if you couldn't source a backing plate correct for what you need), you ought to be able to come up with something like that. It's just a weight bearing axle in the rear, not a driven one.
Of course there is the liability concern, but from a turning of the wrench point of view, why not? Treat it as a trailer axle... that's always attached. | |
