north-central Indiana west of Fulton | My oldest son does the majority of the painting, and he spent 5 hours just on the red of the chassis. I thought that was way more time than necessary, but he is so particular to get to all the angles. That is why he likes the base coat instead of the single stage paint with the built in clear. It is some cheaper, and it can allow you to use more to get in all those hard to get areas, then clear coat after.
