It's very difficult to find people who are willing to pay enough to make painting tractors for hire worthwhile. I've had people ask me and they are shocked at the price when I was half of what I should have been. The response was usually "well so and so does them for $700" to which I would let them know that for a good paint job my materials would cost more than that and I will have 80-100 hours of labor in it.


Very very true. We do a little painting here at the store, more of a repair as needed paint shop...and we get people asking all the time for someone to paint their old tractors. No thank you.

But they all want restoration quality .

We have also had a couple collector tractors done, and the last paint job was traded for a used combine...not a lot of people understand or will pay for a REAL restoration style paint job
