As others have said, 4240 is jdlink compatible. JDLink modem needs to be a 4G, serial will start with PCMA4G....

Ethernet cable, the longest one that will work, is a AL225501 in the JD Parts Book.

Modem is in the back of the roof if I remember right.

4640 display is the only one Deere has built so far with integrated WiFI antenna. 4240 has that capability through a WiFi adapter as 4wdaaron has said.

I have a customer that runs 4240s in small frame 6 series and we have JDLink modems in all since he does a lot of custom spreading etc. Works great.

Also there is the possibility that the tractor has to be transferred into your Ops by your dealer, if they haven't already.
