South Central MN | Also, you could do a different approach and buy some supplies to make candles. I was just checking with our daughters who made candles this past year (not using a kit). They bought beeswax from a local honey family, bought the wicks and made candles in jelly jars. They also melted the wax in a tin can that could be discarded when done. They also used essential oils to scent their candles, but said this is done after the wax has cooled, otherwise the oil evaporates. | |
