South Central MN | I didn't even know there were candle making kits, but I did a quick search and Michael's has one. I would trust them as a source for a beginner type of kit. If she really enjoys making candles, she can grow from there.

I made candles in 6th grade Minnesota history class in the early 1970's and it is a good memory. The teacher melted wax in a kettle and we dipped our wicks to make a taper candle. | |
