Yes it is used to harvest peat for sale. They work the top surface with harrows to loosen it and dry it out and then use vacuums to gather it and then dump in piles. It is then loaded onto walking floor trailers to be transported to plants that bag it and also make garden mix and potting soil. It’s actually a big business up here.
