Get it through Sam's Club or Wal-Mart, and put the monthly fee on your Sams Club Credit Card, and they provide free damage insurance. Will repair or replace a phone due to damage but not loss. Has worked out well for us.
We still have an ancient phone plan that is no longer available, and has been grandfathered in at a low price way back when Nebraska Cellular had a plan with 'for life' pricing - price stays the same for as long as we have the plan. The bad is we cannot change the plan in any way or we lose that price, so we had to go a different way with the kids. Nebraska Cellular was bought out by US Cellular, but they still honor the price. Hasn't gone up in well over 10 years now. | |
