I don't have beets myself but they are grown here also, one guy went to strip till with them and has been doing quite well and having very good yields. Everyone else said it wouldn't work but he's been proving them wrong.

This year it worked out alright to get the cover established but some years you are getting pretty cold by time the combine crawls back into the shed.


Strip till/ zone till beets work fine.
