A crimping tool will cause a problem at sometime.  It will fail in the future.

We remove the plastic, then crimp the metal sleeve to the wire and solder the connection.  Put shrink tubing on the wire prior to crimping and soldering, then heat the shrink around the connection.  Takes time, but the connection won't fail.
