German diesel didn’t use glow plugs.
It’s probably a D 282 . I have one .
There is a way to check them
Test them like a light bulb or fuse, they are either good or bad.
Or maybe it is a German and the guy is holding the ether button thinking it’s a glow plug button, like the dude with the JD combine on here about a week ago?
Funny thing is, if it is a wore out German, it really does take about that much ether to get them started.
