Subject: RE: Fungal Bacterial Ratio

Just outside downtown Prairie Hill
We planted a 14 way cover crop mix behind wheat in 2022 and let it mature. No tilled beans into it in 2023/ They were 10 bu better than our nearby fields. We sent soil samples to Earthfort labs. This field was a .93/1 fungal/bacteria ratio. A long time no till field was .43/1. More conventional fields have very little fungi. We are working on compost which is running from 2.55-3.5 fungal to bacteria. Thinking @ putting some compost extract in the furrow. What fungal product did you use and how did you apply it?
