We got Chicago Cutlery knives for a wedding present in the late 70's. That was the "in" thing at the time. Fast forward to now and I've slowly replaced those knives with Cutco knives, and chosen the ones that I use the most. I still use the Chicago Cutlery steak knives, but use my Cutco knives most of the time for anything else.
