Pittsburg, Kansas | Probably depends on the wife. You probably know your wife so that is a good opinion to have.
My wife loves to cook and prepare. It is one of her hobbies. She has actually been to Italy a couple times for cooking classes (girl trips, they did a lot more than cooking classes but they did several cooking classes also and that is what the trip was centered around). I am sure my wife could be considered a "chef" if she only had some professional course to give her the title.
Funny thing is, when I went to Amazon to look up how to spell Wusthof I saw the nice set on sale for Cyber Monday so I got her a set. Told her I had ordered it when she got home (figured if she did not appear to like it I could cancel the order before shipped). She was thrilled. She would hardly ever spend the money on herself on the nice knives so she only had about 4. When the set gets in if she has duplicates our daughter will be thrilled with the "hand me down" old ones.
Maybe one woman's trash is another's treasure?
