| That’s still a ways off. I didn’t find time to work on it this summer and the house build is about 6 months behind schedule anyway. I am worried about the batteries I found a good deal on and bought. Really thought I would have a warm place to store them by now. Was going to build a shed specifically for inverters and batteries and an overhang for a generator but just haven’t found the time to pursue it. Hasn’t been super cold yet. Thinking about wrapping them in insulation for the winter. I think if they’re charger good that’ll be enough to keep them from damage.
Attached (assuming NAT photo resolution isn’t limiting) is my tentative plan to make it so that any power source can supply energy to any load depending on how manual transfer switches are set up. Not sure how wise it is. POCO won’t do more than about 200 amps without sending me into commercial rates. Trying to be all electric so that all energy for the house and local transportation can be solar eventually. Happy for any feedback on this as I really don’t know what I’m doing.
