Subject: RE: Compaction

Northeast, Nebraska
I have a field that we ran a kuhn Dominator with wing tips 12-14" deep last fall. Tested it for compaction after harvest and we are already seeing compaction at the 6" depth in areas. Deep tillage is a short term bandaid to compaction. I would be interested to see if a good tillage radish field would have better results? The more I get into this, the more trials I want to try and test. The big red spot on the right side was alfalfa when tested and that is why there is a lot of compaction there. The spot on the top center is my biggest concern
