You can correct me if I am wrong but every time I drive by a fendt/massey dealer the only masseys on the lot are oversized lawnmowers or smaller. Anything worth looking at for a decent sized farm is fendt. I’m not sure what the hold up is, I have a hard time believing all of Agcos legacy brand owners are jumping into fendts this fast.

Personally I prefer the red brand and yes that’s what we have but agcos problem with all of this is consistency. To bad they change plans so often most people probably are not comfortable spending big money when they know the parent manufacturer may just drop it in a few years.

My opinion.

And the guy earlier that said they need more toys to get the kids indoctrinated gets it. I know I would have less green toys for my kids if they did.

Every dealer can stock what they want to stock...

Today I have on the lot:
5S.135 MF
7S.165 MF
8S.205 MF
8S.305 MF
8732S MF
8735S MF
8737S MF
943MT FENDT
1038 FENDT
516 FENDT
S96 Gleaner Combine and assorted new headers

Plus about 50 assorted MF tractors from the GC Series to the 4700-5700-6700 Global Series tractors.

How is it AGCO's fault that the dealers you drive by aren't aggressive enough to stock anything? Trust me, they are being pushed by AGCO to stock equipment...not only to stock, but to forecast and pre-sell as much as possible so AGCO can plan the build schedules.

As such, we have 26 units on order today, the big items are:
8S.285 MF
728 FENDT
RG934H FENDT Rogator
1162MT FENDT
T71 Gleaner
Ideal 8T FENDT
Momentum 30 12/23 FENDT Planter
20 more square and round balers, Global Series and Compact tractors.

Again, no one is pushing people to FENDT other than customers deciding FENDT is worth a look. MF is THRIVING and has been for about 2 years. I've traded for more Deere tractors on MF in the past 24 months than I have in 20 years, because folks are realizing there is more to value than saying the resale is better...

As far as AGCO dropping brands, history is history...but the Future is MF and FENDT in North America. Is it a 10 year future, or 50 year future, I can only speculate...but considering both have been in AGCO's lineup for 30 years already, I don't see them going anywhere soon.
