swmn | Here's a thought. ACGO has basically hung its legacy brand dealers with a line of uncompetitive, out of date equipment while investing major dollars into a European brand that is only sold by large multi-store conglomerates that up to this point have struggled to get any real market penetration. How about instead of investing big bucks into some massively over engineered planter to be sold by dealers that don't hardly even sell planters, they make some meaningful updates to the Massey (White) planter line to give people a reason to look at them again. Maybe instead of investing massive dollars into that overcomplicated flop of a Fendt combine, they beef up the Gleaner a little to actually make a competitive and durable class 8 machine to sell against other large combine brands. And not just the drive train, the rest of the combine needs help too.
Then they go and spend big bucks on the most stagnant precision farming line in the industry to do what with, nobody really seems to know.
As usual, nobody seems to have a clue where AGCO is going, not even the people at the top.
