Same thing happened here to a guy that bought a VW diesel. After a couple three weeks, his mileage was up to over 80 mpg. He found out that the tank was collapsed when he ran out of fuel on a 100 mile trip, and he had filled it up shortly before. Lot's of laughs about that one.
