| We too got sick of paying DISH $125+ / month. We cancelled it about 5 years ago. We started using the free tv apps and it's kinda a confusing mess. I'm old fashioned where I like to see a guide of what show is when and on what channel. With the app stuff, there are hundreds of channels that say that they are available....until you try to click of them and it's not available. Unless you have EXTREMELY fast internet and KNOW WHAT YOU ARE DOING don't bother. It got to the point that I wasn't watching much tv anymore (not all bad). A couple of years ago our local phone/internet povider started offering fiber optic available TV and we started paying enough $$$$s again. At least that has a guide that tells us which program is on when. | |
