I never said I didn’t understand tariffs.
What I don’t understand is how some declare them to be the worst thing ever but can’t see why they could be used in needed situations.
Any time I do the mental exercise of how tariffs work out for the general economy (of the country charging the tariff) I come to the conclusion that it is yet another example of the ‘Broken Window’ theory. Maybe in a few limited situations it is not. |
