Depends on how far it has went and how much is in the wall and whether it bothers you enough to tear off and redo, can also cut out the moisture damaged area if it is not too big and get some Durabond 90 drywall plaster, it chemically sets after theoretically 90 minutes, use some mesh joint tape and if it is hole put a block or something in behind to hold the patch where you want it. Mix what you can use in about 15 minutes or so, then mix another batch so on, Also wash your equipment every other batch or it progressively gets harder to make it work well.


it the picture it looks like a few inches that has the hole...maybe a foot could be damaged?

do i cut out the sheet rock or treat with concrobium then dynaflex 230 and paint?
