coast of Maine | In 1990 I bought a 1986 KW w-900 B,that had an assigned title.It was near new and rolled on the interstate.Killed driver.Neighbor bought it and it took 3 years to find a cab. In 1989 He was driving in NJ and needed to take a wizz at a fuel stop.He walked out back and saw a w900B cab on blocks,asked and they said "auction here next week",,he bought it and put it on the frame.I bought it for 23 ,000$ with an insulated trailer.Only 175,000 miles on it.I still have the truck,it is now a dumper.I always figured the guy whom died is riding on my shoulder,,it has the crush marks from his crash on top of the stick shift and steering wheel.400 cummins,reyco suspension even,can not kill it. | |
