I would disagree strongly with that blanket statement. Is it misdiagnosed yes. Is it real yes. Have some people I am very close to who are incredible parents. Raised their kids in a structured home and are hard workers. Their son has it and as a school aged child was helped tremendously via medication. Not sure if he is still on it as an adult but it is a real thing.
