| Had a boy that went to church with my dad that wanted to farm, my dad would go get him on weekends and he’d ride around with my dad and help do jobs no one else wanted to do. Good kid, hardworking, but very hyper.
He would’ve done his best to dig a canal across the nation if I told him to but he couldn’t sit still for nothing.
Any way after “apprenticing” for a couple years he got promoted to limited skid loader jobs. He hit the barn rafters with a couple bales of hay and I said to him, you don’t have a real acute awareness of your immediate surroundings do you? He replied that he didn’t take his medication that morning. I told him to never come back out with out taking it!
Not much damage was done so he got to learn some carpentry that afternoon.
We were laughing it off at lunch and he told me his parents make him take it for school but he doesn’t like the way it makes him feel so he always tried to avoid taking it on weekends. I felt kind of bad for him. | |
