I am just sitting here brainstorming my next barn. We recently bought a place and I am wondering if a red iron building works decent for calving barns with a cattle working facility in it? One of the reasons for thinking this way is it may need to be 70 to 100 feet wide. I am not sure if I am handy enough to set rafters that big. The biggest wood one we have ever built is 56 wide.
