NW Indiana | If I’m Tim Cook and the US putts a 50% tariff on I phones coming from China do I feel the consumer is going to eat that cost so I make no adjustments? I don’t think Tim is that dumb. That said I’m still not a fan of a trade war. I used to feel a trade imbalance was really negative with importing poverty while exporting wealth but after thinking about it more I’m not sure it is as dumb as some seem to think. If I have a fiat currency and you are willing to sell me vast amounts of your resources and labor in exchange for something that only has value based on belief who really is the fool? | |
