I used to have that prob before I found zenni optical 8 years ago.  The glasses cost so little that every couple months you could throw them away and still be cheaper that a local dr. my last dr pair was almost 800 bucks in 2016 .  From zenni I can get the same frame and lenses for about 40 bucks today.  I figured they wouldn’t last but I’ve got prescription sunglasses that are not babied and still usable after 5 years.
