I have the same issue with lenses. Couple things that can help is to never clean them dry. The best thing I’ve found is Dawn dish soap and hot water. Hot enough that they almost air dry and a soft dish towel.
Never use those lens cleaning wipes. They can scratch.

I have a neighbor that has had good luck with Costco lenses that have a special coating for scratch resistance . I’m going to try them next time.
