| 1985 Ford L9000 with a 3406B model cat and a 9 speed transmission. Engine was factory 310 horse and was a real good unit. Still alive and running around SW Iowa with another AgTalker.
Funny story about that transaction. We made the deal and he sent me a check for the sales price and made arrangements to come a couple weeks later to pick it up. He and his wife and another couple drove out on a Friday and stayed the night nearby and on Saturday morning I get a text saying " will be there in about 20 minutes."
I replied" Who is this."
He texted " the guy who bought the semi." To which I replied, "I don't have a semi for sale."
You could feel the tension over the text waiting for him to reply and I let him twist in the wind for a good 30 seconds before letting him off the hook.
All in good fun.
