nw/nc iowa on the banks of West Buttrick Creek..
 | Learned to drive a truck at 68 y/o, was my son's a 98 IH and a 40' grain trailer. It Just left the farm yesterday on a lowboy, it sat for 2years but started right up. I liked that old truck, had a sleeper so it had lots of tools etc for the field. used for grain and water and I could get up early drive 2 miles to the Eplant and sleep till my alarm went off. Had a noise in the tranny and bald tires. Still have a mate to it as a backup, but doesn't have the "feeL" of old red. Was not a creampuff that was waxed and put away every year, but rather sat in yard by the grain bins and ready to use, we are not "shiners".
