South Central MN | $5 per bird is pretty darned cheap and I figure they consumed more feed than $5, as for processing I don't know how many they could do per hour but if you figure paying each person doing it $20/hr. they should be moving pretty quick to make any money from that.
Cost of an egg carton alone is close to $.50 per if you order them in bulk, big egg farms can get a bit cheaper but still have to include that into the sale price of a dozen eggs. | |
