Thumb of Michigan | I'm intrigued with this type of feeder.
https://automaticcattlefeeder.com/
Normally, I only keep 4-6 out if ~20 born every year to finish out. Demand keeps growing and I seem to be getting older, so the 5-gallon buckets twice a day.........................................isn't so easy. And sometimes during the winter, the old bones are a little slower. Normally, there's a 4H critter in the mix, so feeding twice a day works better for ADG, too. Would probably go to 3 times a day feeding with this feeder. I've looked at 'steer stuffers', but like the idea of fresh feed and a clean (almost clean anyhow) bunk between feedings. Grandkids can't always get here every day (let along twice a day) to feed, so I'm the backup/prime feeder (divorced parents that.................never mind, you get the picture)
Already got boss/banker's approval, so that hurtle is gone.
What's NATS take?
Is there a 'better' one made I should look at?
