| I remember when bitcoin got press during the 2008 financial crisis people were using it for commerce, ordering pizzas with it etc.
Does anyone use bitcoin for commerce anymore or is it just sort of like gold? Like nobody actually uses gold anymore for commerce, people just buy into it or sell out of it with currency.
I get that it is a "store of value" but wasn't the original purpose to be something that replaces money? | |
