Somebody once on here said most cattle are average and there are obviously a few outliers one way or the other. Buying average cattle with average performance with reasonable prices feed/equipment is the easiest way to make/not loose as much money.

I’ve quickly learned not to get caught up in pedigrees.

50 cents on a 6wt at 50hd is $15k/yr. That could be the profit on the group of average calves and a loss on the “premium”
