SW OH
My thought is buy a gas. Between the diesel upgrade charge, the emissions issues, higher priced fuel, simular cost per mile fuel, and increased maintenence costs, today's diesel is a waste of money.

We have had Fords at work for 27 years. We went with Chevy for 2 years before that and it didn't work out well. They were all diesel, 3/4 ton and up until the 6.7L came out. We still buy 6.7L in a few F450s.

Driving a diesel truck smaller than a class five is just status symbol these days. Just rich silver spoon kids diving a Dodge Cummins, decked out with as many aftermarket do dads as you can come up with, and 2 footers that's never been off pavement.
