4’6” is the outer edge of feed.
6’ is the full width of concrete feed area on this lane.
6” wide wall is 12” tall on feed side 18” cow side so 6” difference from cows floor to feed floor.
I have other lanes with 4” difference that are good. Also have had others that are equal and didn’t like near as much. Throw in that you have a 10” wall and that means less distance they can reach at level. I’d hate to settle for level bunk knowing what I know now if I were you.
