southeast Iowa | I feed about 100 head a year. roughly half are purchased. always buy a few at a time, mostly sale barn calves. nothing reputation. Been working for me. Would like someone to explain to me the difference between what I'm buying and the reputation calves that can sell .30 to as much as .50 cents higher than I give. Are they really worth it? Would I be better off buying a group of 50 reputation and paying the price? And yes, It take a lot of management the first 30 days they are here. | |
